Possible causes and suggested solutions are as follows.<br><br><strong>Pad based causes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The pad may be too soft: a harder pad should be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pad shape may not be suitable: a more conical pad should be tried.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pad may be worn, pad surface is rough and porous: Pad must be replaced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clich\u00e9 based causes<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Inadequate clich\u00e9 depth can cause ink to dry on the pad ink pad: A new clich\u00e9 with proper depth should be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the clich\u00e9 is too deep, it can cause the ink to dry also; the depth of the clich\u00e9 must be reduced or it has to be left to dry at certain time intervals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ink based causes<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ink can be fast drying: retarder or more thinner should be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The pad surface is very wet \u2013 The film is not clear. Use a fast thinner or slow down the print speed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Material based causes<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The surface of the material may be dirty (grease, oil, hand perspiration etc.): the printing surface must be cleaned and treated with alcohol according to the condition of the contamination. If the operator wears gloves it can help to resolve the problem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other causes<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Room temperature may be too high: Room temperature should be 18-20 \u00b0 C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Printing speed may be low: speed may be increased to prevent drying of the ink on the pad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is problem that arises when the pad cannot transfer the ink to the printing surface successfully&#8230;..
