Possible causes and suggested solutions are as follows:<br><strong><br>Pad based causes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pad shape may not be appropriate, try different shaped pads.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pad may be too soft or too hard; a buffer of appropriate hardness must be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The image may be very close to the pad edge: the pad must be shifted or replaced with a larger buffer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clich\u00e9 and ink based<\/strong><strong>causes<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The clich\u00e9 can be very deep: it causes distortion and bending in the image with a fine ink.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Material based causes<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Material may be moving or leaning during printing: A pad should be used with a hardness that will not tilt the material.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other causes<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The position of the material may not be suitable: the holder must be adjusted to support all areas of the material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The holding device may be moving: the device must be fixed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proper printing can be achieved by changing the holding apparatus angle during angled prints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Distortion-bending at printing is often a problem encountered during the printing of deep or curves surfaces&#8230;..
