In order to clarify any doubt on not standard shades, it is always recommended to provide us a specific request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eco-sustainability (free of):<\/strong>\u00a0Halogens, Animal origin ingredients, Azo dyes, Formaldehyde, G-B Ester, Latex, Melamine, Persistent organic pollutants, Phthalates (listed in RoHS directive)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0shades in the fluorescent color chart contain formaldehyde.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0all our inks are formulated with non carcinogenic aromatic naphthas as the benzene content is below than 0.1% by weight.<\/p>\n<p>IPA contamination are also possibile but always below the limit of 1000 ppm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Outdoor resistance<\/strong>\u00a0(years): 1<\/p>\n<p>Not suitable for outdoor applications.<\/p>\n<p>The used pigments have a solidity from 6 to 8 DIN.<\/p>\n<p>In case of mixing with the transparent bases 70 TR or TP, or with the white 160 or 60 BN, the light fastness and atmospheric agents decrease.<\/p>\n<p>Fluorescent shades (refer to the FLUO color chart) are formulated with special pigments which, due to the molecular constitution, do not guarantee high light solidity and are easily decomposed by electromagnetic radiation.<\/p>\n<p>Outdoor exposure cannot be longer than two months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drying process:<\/strong>\u00a020 minutes at room temperature<\/p>\n<p>1002 series dries physically by evaporation of solvents or through chemical reaction.<\/p>\n<p>Drying times depend on various factors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>thickness of printed ink layer (single print, multi-layer print).<\/li>\n<li>type and amount of thinners\/retarders used.<\/li>\n<li>type of oven<\/li>\n<li>drying temperature<\/li>\n<li>type of substrate on which the ink is deposited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ink dries physically by evaporation of solvents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10-15 minutes at room temperature (depending on local conditions)<\/li>\n<li>20-30 sec at 50\u00b0C in an air circulation oven.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(The test performed in our laboratory was carried out under the following conditions: 8 mt \/ min, clichet at 36 microns, medium thinner 1000 DM at 15%, air circulation oven).<\/p>\n<p>Two-component drying by polymerization:<\/p>\n<p>The polymerization (chemical reaction process) of the ink occurs about 15 minutes after the addition of the catalyst.<\/p>\n<p>The polymerization times depend mainly on the temperature.<\/p>\n<p>At a minimum temperature of 20\u00b0C, Series 1002 ends its cross-linking process in about 6-7 days.<\/p>\n<p>An important increase of temperature accelerates the cross-linking process.<\/p>\n<p>At a temperature of 140\u00b0C (film obtained with a 36 micron clichet, a dilution with a medium thinner of 1000 DM at 15%, 30 minutes inside oven) we obtain a film with a high degree of polymerization and with a maximum of solidity.<\/p>\n<h3>Mechanical and chemical solidity:<\/h3>\n<table class=\"specifications table table-bordered\" border=\"1\" width=\"100% class=\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Acids<\/td>\n<td>excellent<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Alcohol<\/td>\n<td>excellent<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Aliphatic organic solvents<\/td>\n<td>excellent<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Aromatic organic solvents<\/td>\n<td>excellent<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Bases<\/td>\n<td>excellent<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Brake oil<\/td>\n<td>excellent<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Diesel<\/td>\n<td>excellent<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Flexibility (Elasticity or Bending)<\/td>\n<td>good<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Gasoline<\/td>\n<td>excellent<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Surface hardness (Abrasion)<\/td>\n<td>good<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>The laboratory tests were carried out with a completely polymerised film (48 hours in a muffle at 80\u00b0C), using a pad printing clichet at 36 microns, medium thinner 1000 DM at 15%.
